If you are using a different version of PSP, the settings and filter effects may have a different effect. Play around with the settings until you get the result you want.

 

This lesson was conceived and written by me. Any resemblance is purely coincidental.

I use a color scheme in my lessons. I list the colors by noting the color number in the color box in the color scheme.

Preparation
Place the selection files in the selection folder of your Psp files

Open the tubes and the color scheme in your psp. Minimize them, except for the color scheme.

 

Set your foreground on color number 1

Set your background color to color black

 

 

1.

File-Open a new image of this size: 800x500 Pixels /color white

 

2.

Layers / New raster layer

 

Put your foreground on color 1

Effects / Plugins / Graphic plus - Cross shadow, using the default settings

 

3.

Layers / New mask layer / From image and select mask

4.

Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Name this layer the "mask layer".

 

Layers / New raster layer

Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and select my selection:

5.

Fill the selection with your background color black

Selections / Modify / Contract by 4 pixels

and press the delete key once

 

6.

In your layer palette, activate the middle layer

(mask layer)

Selections / Promote selection to layer

 

7.

Effects / Plugins /Filters/ unlimited 2.0 / AFS IMPORT – sqborder 2

Set only "Controle 0 " to 200

the rest remains as it is

 

8.

Layers-Properties-Set the Blend Mode to " Hard Light "

Selections/Select none

Activate the top of the layerpalette

 

9.

Effects / Plugins / Alien skin eye candy 5 impact – Extrude

Tab Settings

Select Centered, Small Taper

and then click ok

Layers / Merge / Merge Down

In your layer palette, activate the middle layer (mask layer)

Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and select my selection:

Layers / New raster layer

Fill the selection with your background color black

Selections / Modify / Contract by 4 pixels

and press the delete key once

 

12.

Selections / Modify / Contract by 30 pixels

Layers / New raster layer

Fill the selection with your background color black

Selection remains activated

Activate the top layer in your layer palette

and press the delete key once

Selections/Select none

 

14.

In your layer palette, activate the layer below it

Layers / Merge / Merge Down

In your layer palette, activate the mask layer

and draw a selection around the watermark
