If you are using a different version of PSP, the settings and filter effects may have a different effect. Play around with the settings until you get the result you want.

This lesson was conceived and written by me. Any similarity is purely coincidental.
I use a color scheme in my lessons.
I list the colors by noting the color number listed in the color box, in the color scheme.

Preparation
Put the selections in the selections folder of my psp files/My psp files
Open the tubes/makers and the color scheme in your PSP. Minimize them,
except the color scheme.

Put your foreground on color no. 1 and your background on color no. 2.

 

1.
Create an image of 800x500 pixels, black
Layers/ New raster layer
Selections / Select All

 

2.
Activate Gianna-Background
Edit-Copy and return to your 800 image
Edit / paste into selection
Selections- Select None

 

3.
Layers / New mask layer / From image and select the mask

Layers / Merge / Merge Group
Layers / Duplicate
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

 

4.
Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and select my selection:

Layers/ New raster layer
Activate again Gianna-Background
Edit-Copy and return to your 800 image
Edit / paste into selection

 

6.
Effects / Tecture Effects/ Mosaic-Antique

Effects / Plugins / graphic plus – cross shadow, using the default settings
Selections-Select None

 

7.
Layers/ Duplicate
Image/Mirror/Mirror vertical(Image/Flip in older versions of PSP)
Effects / Image Effects / Offset
horizontal offset 300
vertical offset minus 25
Custom and transparent checked

Layers / Merge / Merge Down
Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and select my selection:

Layers / New raster layer
Activate Flood Fill Tool- set the opacity to 30
Flood fill the selection with your background (color no. 2)

Effects / Plugins / graphic plus – cross shadow, using the default settings
Selections-Select None

Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and select my selection:

Layers / New raster layer
Activate Flood Fill Tool - set the opacity back to 100
Flood fill the selection with your background (color no. 2)

 

12.
Effects / Plugins / graphic plus – cross shadow, using the default settings
Selections / Modify / Contract with 20 pixels
and press your delete key once
Selections-Select None

Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and select my selection:

Layers / New raster layer
Flood fill the selection with your background (color no. 2)
Effects / Plugins / graphic plus – cross shadow, using the default settings

Selections / Modify / Contract with 30 pixels
and press your delete key once
Selections-Select None

Layers / Duplicate
Image / Resize image by 50%,
Resize all unchecked layers

Effects / Image Effects/ Offse
Horizontal offset at minus 110
vertical offset at minus 130
Custom and transparent checked

Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and select my selection:

Layers / New raster layer
Activate again Gianna-Background
Edit-Copy and return to your 800 image
Edit / paste into selection

Effects / Plugins / graphic plus – cross shadow, using the default settings
Selections / Modify / Contract with 4 pixels
and press your delete key once

Layers / New raster layer
Flood fill the selection with your background (color no. 2)

Effects / Plugins / graphic plus – cross shadow, using the default settings

Selections / Modify / Contract with 30 pixels
and press your delete key once

Layers / New raster layer

Activate again Gianna-Background
Edit-Copy and return to your 800 image
Edit / paste into selection

Selections / Modify / Contract with 4 pixels
and press your delete key once
Selections-Select None

Layers / Merge / Merge down
Repeat 1x more

Activate the tube femme981-Coly
Window/ Duplicate
Close the original, we will continue with the copy

Take your lasso tool or freehand selection
and draw a selection around the watermark.
Selections-Select None

Edit-Copy and return to your 800 image
Edit /Paste as new layer
Image / Resize image by 55%,
Resize all unchecked layers

 

** If you are working with a different tube, resize your tube as you see fit**.

Slide the tube in the direction of the circle so that her face will fall nicely in the center of the circle.

Adust / Sharpness / Sharpen
Layers / duplicate
Layers / arrange / move down
Repeat this one more time.

Activate the top layer in your layer palette
Take your eraser tool, and now erase everything at the bottom of your tube

In your layer palette, go to the duplicate of your tube
(copy of Raster 6)
and delete everything at the bottom of the tube

Layers / Merge / Merge All
Selections / Select All
Image - Add Borders-Symmetric checked:
4 pixels color white

Selections/ Invert
Activate again Gianna-Background
Edit-Copy and return to your 800 image
Edit / paste into selection

Effects / Plugins / graphic plus – cross shadow, using the default settings
Selections-Select None
Image - Add Borders-Symmetric checked:
40 pixels color black

Selections / Select All
Image - Add Borders-Symmetric checked:
4 pixels color white

Selections / Invert

Activate again Gianna-Background
Edit-Copy and return to your 800 image
Edit / paste into selection

Effects / Plugins / graphic plus – cross shadow, using the default settings
Selections-Select None

Image / Resize 800 pixels width
Resize all layers checked

Activate the tube Gianna-Corners mpd©
Edit-Copy and return to your 800 image
Edit / Paste as new layer
Do not move, it is in the right place

Activate the tube L597 Text by mpd©
Edit-Copy and return to your 800 image
Edit / Paste as new layer
Place the text at the bottom or wherever you want

Layers / New raster layer
and put your name/watermark on it

 

!! Don't forget my watermark !!!

Layers / Merge / Merge All

Save your work as a jpeg file
