Imagica

 

This lesson was written on July 28, 2024 using psp12.

 

If you are using a different version of PSP, the settings and filter effects may have a different effect. Play around with the settings until you get the result you want.

 

This lesson was conceived and written by me. Any similarity is purely coincidental.

I use a color scheme in my lessons.

I list the colors by noting the color number listed in the color box, in the color scheme.

Preparation

Put the selections in the selections folder of my psp files/My psp files

Open the tubes/makers and the color scheme in your PSP. Minimize them,

except the color scheme.

Set your foreground to white, and your background to color no. 2

 

1.

File - Open a new transparent image 800x500 pixels

Flood Fill Tool/Fill layer with the background color no 2

 

2.

Layers/ New raster layer

Flood Fill Tool-fill the layer with white.

Layers / New mask layer / From image and select the mask

Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Effects / 3d effects / drop shadow

Layers-Properties-Set the Blend Mode to " Overlay "

Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

Layers/ New raster layer

Set your foreground to color no 1

Flood Fill Tool-Fill the layer with color no 1

The middle layer in your layer palette will be the active layer.

Edit-Copy and return to your 800 image

Edit / Paste as new layer

Image / Resize image by 60%,

Resize all unchecked layers

Horizontal offset at minus 25

vertical offset at minus 72

Custom and transparent checked

Layers / duplicate

Layers / arrange / move down

Repeat 2 more times

Activate the top layer in your layer palette

Take your eraser tool (X)

and erase the part on the edge of the triangle.

35.

In the Layers palette, activate the copy of your tube.

and erase what you see there as well.

Open the tube Imagica deco by mpd©

Edit-Copy and return to your 800 image

Edit / Paste as new layer

 

Do not move, it is in the right place

Layers / Merge / Merge All

Selections / Select All

 

Image - Add Borders-Symmetric checked:

4 pixels- foreground color no 1

Selections / Invert.

Adjust / Add /Remove Noise-/Add Noise

Random and Monochrome checked

Place the text at the bottom or wherever you want

and put your name/watermark on it

Save your work as a jpeg file
