This lesson was written on 21 November 2024 using psp12

If you are working with a different version of PSP, the settings and filter effects may give a different effect. Play around with the settings until you get the desired result.

 

This lesson was conceived and written by me. Any similarity is purely coincidental.

Preparation

Place the selection files in the selection folder of your Psp files

Open the tubes and the color scheme in your psp. Minimize them, except for the color scheme

Set your foreground to white

Open a new image of 800x 500 pixels in black

Layers / New raster layer

Selections/Select all

Activate Renee-TUBES-Novembre-2024-33

Activate the middle layer

Edit/copy and return to your 800 image

Edit / Paste into selection

Selections/Select none

4.

Effects / Image Effects / Seamless Tiling, default settings

Effects / Plugins / Mehdi – Weaver

5.

Effects / Edge Effects / Enhance

Layers / merge / Merge visible

6.

Layers / New raster layer

Flood fill the layer with the foreground color white

Layers / New mask layer / From image and select mask

Set the blend mode of this layer to Overlay

Effects / 3D- Effects / Drop shadow

Blur 1,00 color black

In the layers palette;

Close the layers as shown in the example below

The top layer in your layer palette is activated

Activate your Magic Wand / Tolerance at 0 and Feather at 0

Click in the center of the left square

Hold the shift key

Click on the remaining squares in the middle

In your layers palette, open the layers again,by clicking on the eye again

Activate the bottom layer in your layer palette

(merged layer)

Selections / Promote selection to layer

Layers / Arrange / Bring to Top

Effects / Plugins/ Alien skin eye candy 5 impact – Glass

Tab / Settings

select Clear

Tab / Basic

Set Bevel Width(pixels) to 15.00

The rest remains as it is
